Dear blahandblah,

To be in the presence of a sizeable number of attractive women (which most of world seems to crave), be aware of their presence and yet going about one’s business without a flinch – unconcerned, unaffected – does that warrant the tag of ‘maturity’ ? Maybe, I say.
5 guys in a girl S ‘ (thanks for pointing that out) college was just the setting – incidental. Maturity has nothing to do with it.

As for the ‘Beauty and the Beast’ theory – it doesn’t have a feminist hue – this beast is completely distinct from the OCD afflicted and hormonally charged one you maybe be referring to.

DK, you exhortations regarding sexual preferences are unnecessary. I never said YOU swing both ways, I just said that those who do regret the above fact.

As for the 5 males theory… remember that I’m in THAT (no-longer shady) university in Noida and see “Hot babes” on a regular basis as we share our cafeteria with the Fashion Department and we play footie near the Mass Comm. block. It’s pathetic, disgusting and ironical all at the same time.

In the words of the token black character in ‘Gone In 60 Seconds’:

“I’m gonna go to my crib, I’m gonna smoke some weed and then I’m Gonna KICK YOU ASS!”

I’m not so sure whether I agree or disagree.. I don’t see 5 males in an all girls’ college as a sign of ‘maturity’.. more of a lack of awareness of the competition perhaps, or maybe the stigma attached to a few DU colleges and the labelling of the ‘crowd’ that goes with it.. The ‘Beast’, i refuse to believe, will cease to stalk and hound places which have even the smallest possibility of ‘beauty’.. Good work! Keep it going.. (a little more often, eh?!)
